I realise this is a secular publication and therefore has that world view but do women really look at what a man does and how much he earns above what kind of person he is? I reckon it's hard enough starting relationships without this kind of world view getting in the way.

liliana - I think it's incredibly unfortunate when either men or women are 'objectified', but just because women have been in the past, doesn't mean that men should be now.
I think we would all agree that men who are only interested in a woman's looks are shallow, selfcentred and pathetic. Nobody would really want a man like that - because he doesn't love you warts and all.
Same goes for most of the women in this article - they are shallow, selfcentred and pathetic.
Just because some men have been like that in the past, and some still are, doesn't lessen the stupidity of these women.
