Disappearing

It's all for a good reason
That's what I tell myself
It's hard not to listen
When you're the only voice around
All in the mind
Out of reach, protected
Disaffected
They come and they go
You learn to adapt
It comes down to what you believe
People always leave
Give it time
Have some patience
They always come back
When all is well
Sometimes it's so hard to see
Even harder to believe
I know I'm not invisible
But am I disappearing
